Description:

Senior Product Manager
mx51 is a payments-as-a-service solution for banks, non-bank acquirers, and other merchant service providers. We are building a payment platform that allows merchants to accept payments in-store, in-app and online, whilst consolidating all their data on a real-time business management dashboard.
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager for a 9 month parental leave fixed-term contract, with the possibility to extend.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead on the next evolution of payments and dashboards solutions. You’ll be responsible for understanding the needs of all our customers (banks, partners, merchants and consumers), defining product requirements to solve those needs, and working with internal and external partners to launch products and features that customers love.
If you’re excited by the discovery phase of creating a solution, this role is for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead product discovery initiatives to understand our customers’ needs and pain-points, and translate these into product requirements
  • Provide functional and non-functional product requirements to the delivery squads and support them as needed (e.g. decision making, clear roadblocks, etc)
  • Collaboratively partner with other teams (engineering, design, customer and delivery) early in the product development lifecycle to ensure that products/features are fit for purpose
  • Prioritise competing features and make strategic decisions on the best way to enhance our products
  • Work with our Customer team and banking partner stakeholders to support go-to-market and ensure that your product is launched and utilised by end-users
