We’re growing our product management team to support this mission and our fundamental goal of delivering great products and experiences so veterinary healthcare professionals all over the world can provide better care.

TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

More than 5 years experience with agile software development, understanding software development cycle
Excellent understanding of IT system architecture, cloud architecture, and microservices, good vision of how to create sustainable enterprise solutions.
Strong understanding of UI/UX design systems, automation testing, stress testing, e2e testing

Knowledge about cyber security requirements for large user systems.

  • This is a senior-level role, at around 6-8 years of Product Management experience minimum.
  • This role reports to Head of Product
  • This is a permanent role.

Our current team setup is around 8-10 team members including PM, techlead and designed and distributed across Europe working fully remote. Responsibilities:

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager capable of identifying business opportunities, defining a product strategy and managing a complex product area through the entire cycle—from development, to delivery, to end-of-life.
You’ll lead our Clinical Foundation team in a triad with an Engineering Tech lead and a Product Designer. The Clinical Foundation team’s mission is to empower our Product teams with a solid Application infrastructure to build amazing Veterinary features on.
The team’s responsibilities cover our front and backend client infrastructure, search, product design patterns, information architecture and providing the building blocks for supporting applications like our mobile Apps, digital whiteboard and E-signature.
We work closely with the QA and platform teams to optimize performance and make sure all applications work with the variation of work roles, permissions and restrictions. We provide standards to other teams when it comes to creating JSON API endpoints and design patterns for our front end.
The top candidates for this role have experience as product managers of large complex SaaS solutions that handle complex configuration, user roles, permissions.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure we have the right sized toolkit and application infrastructure when it comes to product patterns, client backend APIs and additional services that our Product Teams can build, improve and release new features on.
  • Define, deliver, and communicate a compelling and well-defined strategic vision and roadmap for your area of the product.
  • Identify and build business cases for new opportunities, and move forward on the key investments that can bring concrete value to our customers and company.
  • Prioritize and manage work efforts through the coordination of Agile product development rituals and guide your team through ideation, development, and timely delivery of product features and improvements.
  • Prepare necessary documentation, coordinate research, design, and development activity, and drive the progress of multiple projects to achieve high-quality, value-driven implementation into the product.
  • Define and analyze metrics to measure the success of your delivered projects, and continuously monitor, report on, and improve the overall performance of your product area.
  • Plan for and guide iterations of your team’s work to progressively improve your product area and extend and expand the value offering for our customers.
  • Mentor and support your peers in the product management team, and help the organization mature in its processes and working approaches.
  • Foster the adoption of our Nord Design System in our products and help contribute to its continued growth and evolution.
