Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to continuous growth Milwaukee is seeking to appoint a Senior Product Manager – Power Tools for a Fixed Term period of two years. Directly reporting to the Product Marketing Manager, your role as an instrumental leader will consist of motivating and supporting your team to drive the company’s mission, vision and brand marketing objectives.
With a detailed understanding of your category, you will be responsible for Product Life Cycle Management, reporting range analysis and market research of product categories and competitive environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Motivate your team through leadership, planning, category management and tracking progress.
- Product Life Cycle management – ongoing range maintenance and new product development as per business requirements.
- Responsible for reporting, range analysis and market research of products categories and competitive environment.
- Responsible for driving all product marketing in line with the Category Plan.
- Implementation of category promotions in collaboration with the Marketing Team.
- Sales forecasting assistance in inventory planning with the Procurement Team
- Responsible for all product marketing for the respective category.
- Deliver margin in-line with Milwaukee KPIs for the respective categories
- Reduce Excess & Obsolete in-line with company objectives.
- Ensure Milwaukee’s operations system (SAP) is updated in full at time of product launch for the respective category.
- Market exposure through retail visit, customer events and industry conferences
