JOB DESCRIPTION
This role oversees the strategic product management for Centralized Customer Profile & Preferences within the Unified Customer View Platform. This position oversees the evaluation of market trends, product development and product position within the overall ecosystem of customer data. The Product Manager understands database systems, system architectures and recommends platform enhancements to meet modernization and efficiency objectives. Ensures the Unified Customer View Platform meets state and federal regulatory requirements, as well as privacy, compliance, and all legal guidelines. Coordinates legal reviews of all supporting collateral materials and documentation. Regularly interfaces with cross-functional partners to understand future data needs and requirements as well as socialize progress. Manages the day-to-day activities of a cross-functional Agile team, works with release management and presents routine updates to leadership. Maintains and refines product backlog; creates user stories and acceptance criteria and assists in the prioritization of all stories to ensure work efficiencies and alignment with product strategy.
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- 10 or more years of product management experience
- Four or more years of managerial experience
- Thorough knowledge of database systems and technical architectures
- Strong product management, design, development, implementation, and strategic analysis skills
- First-hand knowledge of successfully working in an Agile environment
- Successful history of evaluating and improving customer experience and system efficiencies
- Natural curiosity over customer behavior, Industry changes and market analysis
- Independent and self-starter
- Well-developed ability to collaboratively develop and evolve a product backlog
- Well-developed ability to develop and articulate a product vision that supports outcomes, value and prioritization of work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong financial acumen and decision-making skills
- Excellent at managing details and follow through
- Competitive analysis and analytical skills
- Demonstrated management, cross-functional leadership and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience with customer data bases and systems of record
- Experience with Digital Platforms
