Senior Product Specialist (Oxford Immunotec, Southeast Asia)

Key Responsibilities

To provide pre-sales and post-sales applications support to expand T-Spot opportunities in Southeast Asia market.

• Establishes the pre-sales and post-sales support strategy basis for current and prospective clients. Works with distributor partners and direct sales teams to ensure that optimum systems solutions are provided to new and existing customers. Develops processes and systems to provide quick yet thorough response to customer Requests.
• Provides pre-sales and post-sales support and systems configuration recommendations. Develops and applies methods, theories and research techniques to provide solutions to technical problems. Plans, conducts and directs projects including costs, staffing, technical leadership and project evaluation and serve as a technical resource for long-range planning.
• Work cooperatively and in partnership with regional Product Managers and other Business leaders to help drive business success.
• Collaborate with Service in supporting and meet customers’ requirements.

Requirements

• Degree or postgraduate in biotechnology, biological sciences or equivalent discipline.
• Sound technical knowledge and experience in diagnostics industries in Singapore. Preferably also in Southeast Asia.
• Applications Support: Proven track record in applications support to end customers & product knowledge of latest technology in the genomics, molecular and laboratory automation.
• Minimum 3-5 years applications support in a Field Sales environment.
• Highly committed, goal-driven professional with track record of success.
• Positive work attitude and team player with an assertive personality, drive and high energy.
• Independent and able to work with minimum supervision.
