Senior Product Specification and Formulation Scientist

WHO YOU ARE?

• Education requirement: Degree in Chemistry or related discipline.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a relevant scientific field with previous experience in Quality control is preferred.
• Experience and knowledge of raw material specifications, finished product specifications, compendia and TGA requirements are highly preferred.
• Good data analysis, attention to details, interpretative, problem-solving, technical writing and reporting skills.

• To influence productive teams working to achieve the agreed results, within the company and with customers, and such that agreed documentation standards and timelines are achieved.
• To ensure technical documentation (such as product formulations and specifications, QBI justifications, change controls) are completed to standard and on time.
• To prepare and review product specifications suitable for the intended markets using the company’s consultation process.
• To prepare and review QBI justifications, ensure all regulatory and markets’ requirements are satisfied.
• To initiate Change Impact Consultations for NPD/EPD and lifecycle change controls. Manage all feedback from the consultation and ensure prepared/updated product formulation and specification are aligned with the agreement from Change Impact Consultations.To perform reviews on specifications, testing and results on raw materials, product specifications and product formulation when required.
