As a Senior Business Trainer at SimCorp, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering finance-focused software training sessions, to enhance your skills and knowledge. This role demands a dynamic and engaging approach to training, where you will be converting complex financial concepts into easily understandable materials for a diverse audience. You will be instrumental in enhancing the professional skills of our clients and employees, ensuring they are well-equipped to navigate the complex world of finance with our innovative software.

What you will be responsible for

  • Conduct in-person and virtual finance-focused software training sessions.
  • Develop and maintain course materials and blended learning courses.
  • Adapt classroom content for online use, ensuring it meets current business and industry standards.
  • Engage in dynamic discussions on finance topics, market trends, and investment strategies.
  • Work closely with experts, stakeholders and subject matter experts from global SimCorp offices and the product development division.
  • Contribute to improvement initiatives and collaborate across the organization for enhanced training methodologies.
  • Create finance-specific assessments and evaluations to measure and ensure effective learning outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the finance industry to provide relevant and current training content.

What we value

  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • 2-5 years of experience in training facilitation, preferably in the financial services or investment management sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Education, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in finance or investment management are highly desirable.
  • A solid foundation in finance, including understanding of financial markets and instruments, investment strategies, and financial market operations.
  • Previous Consulting experience in financial services, banking, or investment management, with a focus on training and development.
  • Proficiency in lesson planning, content delivery, and participant engagement within a financial context.
  • Ability to conduct product training for SimCorp clients, focusing on financial applications and use-cases.
  • Availability for travel worldwide to SimCorp Office locations, e.g., Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney, EMEA (10-40%).

Additional expertise (considered as considered an asset):

  • SimCorp Dimension knowledge
  • Certifications like CFA, FRM, or similar credentials in the finance sector.
  • In-depth understanding of the financial regulatory environment and compliance issues.
  • Experience with financial analysis tools, investment management software, and technology in finance.
  • Skills in using technology for effective training delivery in finance-specific topics.
  • Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Finance, Business, Education, or related field.
