Description:

Regional Victorian Flour Manufacturer seeking a Senior Production Supervisor
A Bridgewater-based flour producer and manufacturer are seeking a highly experienced Senior Production Supervisor.
Their facility is located thirty - forty minutes from the heart of Bendigo, Victoria.
Day Shift - 85k - 90k + Super

Your new role:

  • Manage your shift and the employees under your responsibility, ensuring that all personnel and input resources are available and to ensure production is controlled, efficient, and completed as scheduled within the required time frame.
  • Manage all processes in accordance with the required standards. Production scheduling and processes are both followed and adapted where appropriate to achieve customer satisfaction by ensuring that quality standards and all supply needs are met.
  • Work closely with all staff to identify and implement opportunities for improvement, ensuring associated systems and processes are standardised, evolved, documented and applied so that all production planning and processes become more efficient and effective.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience as Production Supervisor or similar
  • Previous experience in Food Manufacturing
  • Experience with using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
  • We are seeking an individual who is driven and collaborative, someone who is exceptional at planning and decision-making.
  • Computer Literate (MS Office Applications)
  • A high level of communication skills is necessary for the purposes of interacting with various departments, levels of employees and management within the company.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
