Description
SAIC is seeking a senior program analyst in Quantico, VA who is passionate about supporting the daily routine and strategic efforts of a Marine Corps acquisition program. They will be working with our talented team engineers, logisticians, and program support personnel to design and build the next generation capabilities for the United States Marine Corps Fires community.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and six (6) years or more related experience. An additional four (4) years of experience may be applied in lieu of a Bachelors.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to produce accurate material trackers and production schedules.
  • Ability to identify process improvement in accordance with DoD regulations.
  • Able to work independently and efficiently with short term deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel (15%).
  • Military experience or experience supporting military organizations.
  • Familiarity with scheduling software (Microsoft Project)

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a detailed understanding of all project requirements, spend plans and project schedules at the program level and project team level.
  • Advise the project team efforts based on program office priorities to ensure the project team is effectively employing its resources.
  • Support development of acquisition plans that best leverage project team capabilities.
  • Support the complete integrated product team on all engineering, logistics, testing, training, and financial efforts.
  • Assist the project team lead with monitoring and reporting performance against plans to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • Observe demand signals throughout the Fleet to help the project team evaluate them for inclusion in their product(s), contributing to new concepts, techniques, and standards.
