Job Description:
Senior Program Analyst - Technical Writer & Program Support
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Analyst to join our CTFC/CSIRC team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in management and technical writing, ensuring the smooth integration of new hires and the development of comprehensive documentation to support our cybersecurity operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Writing:
Produce high-quality technical documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), user guides, and reference materials.
Maintain and update existing documentation to reflect changes in procedures, technologies, and best practices.
Work closely with CSIRC analysts, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure accuracy and clarity in all documentation.
Develop and enforce documentation standards and templates to ensure consistency across all written materials.
Program Management:
Assist with personnel PMO processes e.g. onboarding, offboarding, training coordination, accounts, etc.
Assist with maintaining personnel process documentations.
Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance the overall effectiveness of personnel processes and documentation efforts.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree is preferred in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a program analyst or similar role, with a focus on personnel onboarding and technical writing.
Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or a similar environment is highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
Exceptional technical writing skills with a strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing personnel processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong project management and organizational abilities.
Proficiency with documentation tools and software, such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices is a plus.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications such as Certified Technical Writer (CTW), Project Management Professional (PMP), or similar are advantageous.
The likely salary range for this position is $97,750 - $132,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
