    Amazon’s World-Wide Stores Finance (WWASF) is seeking an exceptional Senior Program Manager to support our Insight, Planning, Analytics, and Technology team in Luxembourg. Your mission will be to spearhead key initiatives, enhance processes, and drive strategic goals, particularly in the areas of IT General Controls (ITGCs), Data Strategy and Governance, GRC 2.0 migration, Project Query, Data Security and Privacy, ACES Support, and PACE (COMPASS Academy). We are looking for a leader that will drive changes across the organization, stay ahead of financial, operational and compliance risks, and strengthen our control environment.
    We’re looking for an energetic Program Manager, to serve as a liaison with other internal teams (Global Finance Risks and Controls (GFRC), Stores Security, Privacy and Amazon Stores Finance Tech (ASFT) to keep the WWASF on track with deliverables for their strategic goals.

Key job responsibilities

  • Strategic Initiatives: Lead and drive the successful execution of key initiatives, e.g. WWASF (Worldwide Amazon Stores Finance) Data Strategy and Governance, GRC 2.0 Migration, Project Query, Data Security and Privacy, Kaizen Support, and Process and Controllership Excellence Academy (PACE). Use problem-solving skills to remove blockers to ensure completion of initiatives.
  • ITGCs Enhancement: Provide crucial program management support to stabilize the platform and enhance features for IT General Controls (ITGCs) as part of Project El Dorado.
  • Data Governance: Enhance and improve the Data Governance processes by providing program management office support.
  • GRC 2.0: Partner with FGBS Fintech and GFRC team to communicate enhancements for the GRC 2.0. Migration and provide necessary project management support for reviewing controls in GRC 2.0 for defined WWASF scope. Perform data collection and analysis with WWASF stakeholders to enhance GRC 2.0 via product roadmap.
  • Project Planning: Use project management skills to create working backward plans and tracks key controllership projects for WWASF such as; the Project Query, ensuring its successful implementation and completion of key controls. Use strategic planning and decision making for real-time solutions
  • Data Privacy and Security (DPS): Cross team collaboration with Stores Security team to assess, prioritize and implement security controls and automated solutions impacting WWASF.
  • Process Excellence: Facilitate prioritized Kaizen projects from Ideation to solution implementation, leveraging Lean Six Sigma tools focusing on delivering time savings by reducing manual steps/defects and prioritizing automation opportunities on tech roadmaps. Learn new continuous improvement mechanisms such as process mapping to execute Kaizens.
  • Learning Excellence: Lead and support launch of user awareness mechanisms through Process and Controllership Excellence (PACE) Academy. Ensure trainings relevant to Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) are available to all WWASF employees based on their role and level.

About the team
This position within Controls Optimization and Management Process Automation, Solution Support (COMPASS) is responsible for working closely with Technology teams in WW Amazon Stores and Stores Finance to support timely deliverables related to the strategic goals such as IT General Controls (ITGCs) enhancement and automation, Data Governance, Data Security and Privacy implementation.
