Description:

Robert Walters are excited to be representing a global market leader in the healthcare sector who, due to continued growth, are seeking an ambitious and dynamic Senior Project Accountant to join their finance team to drive continued success across an international remit. This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established, global organisation with revenues in excess of $5 Billion.
The role reports directly into SLT and will see you leading and delivering continuous improvement and enhancement projects as the business continues to grow and acquire new businesses internationally. You will drive continuous improvements to finance processes, ensuring all policies and controls are adhered to, including the on boarding of new acquisitions and upgrades of systems.

The role:

  • Lead on the management of projects across finance, including developing & testing new systems, identifying opportunities for improvements.
  • Integration of new systems post-acquisition / merger, providing technical expertise and accounting guidance and process development.
  • Be key point of contact during acquisition & merger process with local finance teams and external consultants as required.
  • Drive continuous improvements and standardisation in processes ensuring best practice sharing across the EMEA, SSC and APAC Finance Teams.
  • Support financial analysis projects to provide insight into P&L and Balance Sheet.
  • Collaborate with wider finance teams across FP&A, Tax, Treasury, IT and Operational teams across the globe to deliver on projects effectively.

The successful individual:

  • Fully ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with several years PQE.
  • Previous experience implementing systems changes (Oracle preferable).
  • Strong team & stakeholder management credentials.
  • A proven background of working with new acquisitions would be advantageous.
  • The ability to build strong working relationships and influence senior leaders.
  • System savvy ideally with exposure to successful systems changes/upgrades.
  • The ambition to succeed and grow within a global market leading PLC.

This role requires a self-motivated and focused individual who will quickly establish themselves as a key senior member of the finance team. You will possess excellent technical accounting skills coupled with being a naturally inquisitive individual with the ability to build successful working relationships with stakeholders in various business areas up to exec level.
