Responsibilities:
AS PROJECT BUYER, THE KEY DUTIES WILL BE:
- Planning, control and implementation of the procurement process for Onshore Wind & Solar PV projects across Germany/internationally
- Negotiation, selection and management of suppliers and subcontractors throughout the procurement process, for all major deliverables (wind turbines, PV panels substations, cables, civil deliverables etc.)
- Work directly with the Procurement Manager to provide technical support for all purchasing related activities
- Coordination with internal disciplines to understand project requirements and adjust procurement strategy accordingly
- Purchase order management
- Progression into Procurement Manager within 18 months
