Description:

As Senior Project Engineer / Discipline Lead - Machinery Systems, you will report to Department Manager - Machinery Systems. Your role will include engineering of ship and machinery systems with layouts and arrangements, managing and planning the deliveries, and fulfilling the document requirements for key stakeholders.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Discipline Lead coordination / execution for the machinery design discipline
  • Responsible for ensuring smooth collaboration among team members, keeping projects on track within set timelines and budget constraints. Coordinate with internal disciplines, teams and internal / external suppliers
  • Uphold delivery excellence and actively contribute to R&D initiatives and sales support.
  • Collaboration Champion: Work closely with the broader project team, securing approvals from customers, class authorities, and national bodies.
  • Team Player: Foster a positive social and professional environment within our team

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant engineering education, from college or university
  • Experience with marine machinery systems
  • CAD drafting and drawings, project follow-up software and shipbuilding/operational experience
    This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
