The John Holland Gold Coast Light Rail is currently sourcing a Senior Project Engineer to join the Roads team for a maternity leave cover until February 2025, based on site in Broadbeach. Reporting into the Area Manager, you’ll be accountable for coordinating on-site construction engineering activities to achieve project time and budget objectives.

Your key responsibilities include;

• Management of the civil construction scope of works for projects and ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to high quality standards
• Provide technical guidance to project team to ensure compliance with construction specifications and standards
• Leading and coordination of subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment in construction planning and objectives
• Maintaining project documentation related to scope of works, including quality documentation, progress reports, risk assessments and plans
• Reporting to management on the progress and status of projects
