In our Resources, Power & Industry (RPI) team, we offer services that span the entire project life cycle. From concept to detailed design, engineering and project management for execution and commissioning phases, as well as decommissioning and closure of existing operations.

Job Description
THE ROLE
As a result of a significant project pipeline, AECOM’s Resources, Power & Industrial team has an upcoming opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with strong leadership and technical experience to join the talented team based in Perth.
Working as part of a dynamic, consulting environment, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of large multidisciplinary projects within the Mining, Refining, Renewable Power and Industrial sectors.
Our team of industry experts and network of technical specialists will support the development of your technical and project management capabilities, giving you the opportunity to work across all project phases from studies through to detailed engineering and execution.
WHAT WILL A DAY IN THIS ROLE LOOK LIKE:
- Collaborate with industry leaders and technical specialists whilst working as part of a dynamic and consultative team on projects both across Australia and internationally.
- Utilising your relevant experience, assist with the development of our upcoming engineers and graduates by advising and mentoring the next generation of engineering consultants.
- Be heavily involved in the management and leadership of a multi-disciplinary engineering team with various projects and packages of work.
- Manage, plan and deliver a range of projects for Industrial clients varying in size and scope.
- Assume the role of Project Manager across projects, managing the contractual obligations on behalf of our clients.
- Meet with clients, contractors and industry stakeholders to facilitate technical discussions, promote AECOM’s client-centric culture and ensure our client’s project expectations are satisfied.
- Prepare and execute Project Plans during Opportunity and Contracted Phases including; scope & approach, engineering, deliverables management, resources, procurement, budget, scheduling, change management, reporting and project closeout.
