Responsibilities:

  • Working closely alongside an experienced programme manager to deliver a high-priority programme of public transport routes and infrastructure on our road network.
  • Management of construction, detailed design, stakeholder engagement, procurement, and standard engineering contracts (e.g. NZS:3910).
  • Establishing and leading project teams from within AT and externally to enable the successful delivery of AT business objectives and optimise time, cost, and quality project performance outcomes.
  • Leading complex tender processes, implementing procurement strategies and effective governance arrangements to monitor supplier and contractor performance.
  • Facilitating communication and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure project alignment and support.
  • Internal and external project reporting, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and transparency during delivery.
  • Ensuring project strategies, plans and activities incorporate organisational and workplace safety.
  • Providing coaching to junior project members to develop knowledge of project management best practices
