We are looking for a Senior Project Manager, part of the Transformation team (within Change & Solutions) in Montreal, with an innovative mindset hunger to challenge and improve on the operation of the Bank in North America.

THE STRENGTHS AND SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED

  • Over 8 years of experience in Project Management and/or Consulting, preferably within Financial Services Industries
  • Knowledge of Banking in general, and CIB activity in particular is a plus
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI); experience with RPA, python and other process improvement solution

IS A PLUS

  • Certifications such as PMI-PMP or Lean Six Sigma Green/ Black Belt are a plus
  • Inquisitive mindset, seeking out and suggesting new ways of doing things
  • Receptive to constructive feedback, promoting a culture of continuous feedback
  • Demonstrates big picture thinking and ability to connect the dots
  • Balances listening and talking to foster constructive dialogue

  • Bilinguism in French and English is required

Responsibilities:

  • To lead Transformation projects, managing the project team throughout the project delivery
  • To adhere to and improve on the methodologies used during projects (e.g., Project Management best practices)
  • To support the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through identifying and eliminating unnecessary complexity to find better ways of working
  • To prepare client-ready material that synthesizes key information in a clear, structured, and impactful manner
  • To present confidently and articulately; conduct successfully workshops, interviews and other client meetings
  • To actively monitor project risks to foresee/ identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them
  • To be a driver of change in the projects, ensuring that all recommendations are implemented and accepted by all stakeholders
  • To complete post-implementation reviews when needed to ensure successful delivery has been achieved and that improvements can be made for future projects
  • To act as an internal Relationship Manager, to foster the team’s project pipeline
  • To support the development of transversal work within Change & Solutions, partnering with people from US and Canada to improve the team’s Training, Knowledge Management, among others
  • To assist in the development and implementation of a ‘best-in-class’ continuous improvement strategy
  • To support the pursuit of Innovation in the Bank, be that on an ongoing basis or during specific challenges
