As a member of our Nature Based Solutions (NBS) team, you will play a key role in sustainable NBS projects benefiting the global climate and their local environment.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s degree in forestry, agronomy or environmental sciences
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Nature Based Solutions
- Experience in sourcing and developing certified carbon removal projects under recognized carbon credit standards
- Experience in providing strategic advisory to investors and buyers of carbon removals on their NBS activities
- Understanding and assesssing the economics of NBS project activities
- Being acquainted with tools and technologies regarding GIS and remote sensing is a plus
- Self-motivated individual with entrepreneurial spirit, enjoy working in intercultural teams
- Fluent in German and English. Spanish skills are a plus

Responsibilities:
- Source, assess and contract NBS activities
- Coordinate the implementation and certification of NBS activities under acknowledged standards of the voluntary carbon market
- Advise organisations on implementation strategies for their envisioned NBS activities
- Advise our clients on their climate strategies and develop and manage suitable NBS portfolios for them
