    Our client stands as one of Australia’s largest privately owned construction, industrial, and environmental services organizations, operating from city centres through to remote locations. Our client can diverse and iconic projects, including Defence projects.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will report directly to the General Manager and work closely with Senior Management and the Projects Team. You will be responsible for ensuring high quality project delivery outcomes.
This position is not a FIFO position and would see you relocate to Darwin, Northern Territory. Our client will assist with relocation costs.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction industry with Project Management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication along with proven computer literacy skills including accounting software, MS Projects, Office & Outlook.
  • Experience across multiple disciplines and commercial, contractual, and HR management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience exceeding project tendered margins whilst maintaining excellent client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Working across multiple projects at one time, prioritising and delegating project tasks.
  • Technical, planning and financial management including cost forecasting, programming, earned value analysis, resource planning & risk management.
  • Identify, manage and problem solve issues throughout the course of a project.
  • Promote the company and their values and participate in development programs and events.
  • Team leadership and mentorship maintaining team accountability and discipline towards project deliverables. Whilst ensuring a high standard and positive culture towards occupational health and safety and quality environmental controls.
