Description:

The primary focus of the IT Project Manager will be to deliver a series of systems implementation projects into Greystar’s APAC region. This will involve working with our strategic technology partners, who will be commissioned to build, configure, implement and train out their systems in order to drive adoption and to have a consistent toolset implemented across our properties, and at our corporate offices. The role will also necessitate developing and delivering an organization change management plan to support systems adoption, and communication of the same.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Create and manage project plans to implement a variety of systems, including both the technical deliverables, as well as the organizational change management and communication plans.
  • Drive technology partners’ accountability on technical deliverables, ensuring detailed tasks are integrated into the agreed project milestones.
  • Responsible for managing stakeholders’ expectations and all project related tasks and matters.
  • Expected to understand the configuration and solutioning aspects to assist with defining project scope and deliverables.
  • Provide regular and consistent updates to stakeholders at all levels on project status and health through the production, circulation, and presentation of project status reports.
  • Be the main go to person for all project related matters and serve as an escalation point to team members, facilitating prompt and appropriate responses to project issues and risks.
  • Assist in managing, gathering and synthesizing business requirements and translating them into relevant functional specifications or related documents.
  • Maintain and track all opex and capex budget, accrual, forecast and actual spend related to the projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary.
  • Follow established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and operational processes related to area(s) of responsibility and reporting violations or infractions to appropriate individual(s).
  • Demonstrate appropriate safe behaviours in accordance with Company, property, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards by immediately reporting any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, employee/visitor/resident injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to appropriate individual(s).
  • Identify areas for improvement, offer suggestions to improve efficiency and productivity, and implement ideas that achieve operational excellence.

Role Scope

  • Report to Senior Director, APAC Technology.
  • Have accountability for the successful management and delivery of multiple, concurrent projects to quality, on-time and on-budget implementations.
  • Engage closely and frequently with the various teams not limited to, Greystar Systems team, Greystar Project Management Office, 3rd party system vendors, etc, located regionally and/ or globally.
  • Plan, resource, manage, budget, and report on the projects in adherence to Greystar Project Management Office’s framework and guidelines.
  • Willingness to learn and develop other product skillset in areas as required by Greystar.

About you

  • Knowledge of business practices related to ERP Financials on Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Intercompany, etc).
  • Understanding of data mining and data warehousing concepts.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of business process optimisation and business use case development.
  • Qualification in Project Management (e.g., Prince2, PMP) a plus.
  • Cloud-based ERP software package implementation and delivery experience, including full life cycle projects, involving multiple dependent workstreams, 3rd parties, and other related complicated business integration requirements.
  • Proven experience delivering IT business change projects and software projects to medium-large organisations.
  • Solid business analysis skills to be effective at activity and milestone management and tracking of progress.
  • Excellent organization skills, including the ability to prioritize workload and show good judgment under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for solid stakeholder management and reporting.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and multitask effectively.
  • Proven experience in conflict resolution and stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude to getting work done, with little supervision required.
  • Solid understanding of Agile software development lifecycle.
  • Prior experience in Oracle ERP Cloud and/ or data & analytics related project implementations a plus.
  • Experience in the Real Estate Sector a plus.
