Responsibilities:
TE TŪRANGA | ABOUT THE ROLE
As our Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of key infrastructure projects. Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert assistance and guidance in all aspects of project planning, organization, resource management, and delivery. Working closely with various internal and external stakeholders, you will ensure that projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget, while consistently achieving the desired goals, objectives, and outcomes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Successfully delivering projects to scope, time and budget.
- Ensuring monitoring, control and reporting is accurately, timely and meets the council’s requirements.
- Create and foster professional relationships that are trusted, sustainable and effective.
- Lead the project team effectively and create a culture of continuous improvement which the team can take an active part in.
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring;
- Bachelors qualification in engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of project management experience and/or PMP qualification.
- Demonstrated success in administering contracts and managing contractors and suppliers.
- Proven learning agility.
- Commitment to health and safety
