JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure projects, with a proven track record of implementing successful deployments for pre-opening of hotels, attractions or venues.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the tourism industry and hospitality sector.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Experience in managing tender processes and vendor selection.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager with at least 12 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure projects for new hotels, parks, and attractions. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in both vendor-side and client-side project management, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end IT infrastructure implementation and vendor management. This role demands exceptional coordination, planning, and execution skills to ensure the successful delivery of complex projects within the hospitality and leisure sectors.

Project Planning and Management

  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of IT infrastructure projects for new hotels, parks, and attractions.
  • Develop detailed project plans including scope, objectives, budget, timeline, risk management, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying potential issues and implementing corrective measures as needed.
  • Ensure projects adhere to all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in IT infrastructure development.

Vendor Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
  • Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance management to ensure project quality and compliance.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals and ensure that they meet project specifications and budget requirements.
  • Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and implement improvement plans where necessary.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with vendors to resolve any project-related issues or disputes.

Budget and Financial Management

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Track project expenditures and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Provide accurate financial forecasts and report on project financial status to management.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality and project goals.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

  • Lead cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
  • Promote effective communication within the project team and with all stakeholders.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and ensure timely resolution of any team concerns.

Risk Management and Problem Solving

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Proactively address project challenges and develop innovative solutions to overcome obstacles.
  • Ensure contingency plans are in place and can be activated if required.
