The ideal candidate would have experience onboarding new customers and implementing infrastructure, database, and application technologies. This individual will be responsible for implementing multiple solutions which may lead to a few complex projects and / or multiple smaller unrelated projects. Responsibilities include all areas of project management including project scope, schedule, costs, resource utilization, deliverable quality, and risk/issue resolution. The role requires working with interdepartmental teams to successfully complete project objectives.

This includes:

  • Implement, manage, and successfully implement projects
  • Provide customers a smooth on-boarding experience, during the entire lifecycle of the project
  • Understands project scope, objectives, and customer expectations.
  • Leads project kick-off meetings and internal and customer project meetings
  • Develops and manages detailed project plan
  • Measures project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Oversee and coordinate multiple teams / vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Provides project team on-going work direction and drives accountability
  • Identifies any gaps and works with internal team and customer to resolve project constraints
  • Identifies project changes; evaluates impact to overall project commitments, evaluates and presents options, works with designated stakeholders to obtain required approvals, implement approved changes
  • Identify and manage project risks. Work with team to identify and institute mitigation plans.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation (action items, issues, changes, risks, etc.)
  • Prepares and provides weekly, monthly, key milestone updates, for customer, through implementation
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to implement the project solution, on time
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Provides consistent project updates to various stakeholders
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Utilize core project and implementation management processes for the successful delivery of Navisite Services
  • Follows corporate security and compliance requirements
  • Seeks opportunities to improve increase efficiency and provides feedback, to leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years’ experience in Project Management, IT Technical Support Management, or IT Account Management
  • General knowledge of project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Preferred experience in public cloud computing, managed hosting, Windows/Unix environments, databases, SAN/storage, disaster recovery, security, enterprise applications, and messaging.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, problem solving and project management skills.
  • Excellent demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and energy.
  • Self-motivated, excellent work ethic, goal oriented and strong team player.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
