Role Summary
The Senior Project Manager, is responsible for managing medium to large scale local client implementations with multiple workstreams, internal and external stakeholders, including building client relationship, managing client requirements and expectations, reporting and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle or act as a Workstream Lead and/or Project Manager within a large scale local or global project.
The successful candidate, uses specific knowledge of a discipline to achieve goals through own work. Has specific knowledge or expertise typically gained through formal education or equivalent experience. Uses expertise to provide guidance to others as a project manager or consultant. Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines. Solves complex problems. Works independently; receives minimal guidance. May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectives. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

What you will be doing

  • Ensure alignment of resources at NT and the client for the lifecycle of the project
  • Set up of overall project governance
  • Set up of PPM codes for use by CDS and technology teams for the lifecycle of the project
  • Schedule and run Internal and Joint working group meetings and all executive steer meetings(including Go/No Go decision meetings)
  • Populate Actions, Risk and Gap registers with any items that are raised as part of the Joint or Executive Steer meetings
  • Review and follow up on any At Risk and Overdue items in the Registers or Detailed Project Plan
  • Ensure all project governance activities are completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Collate and distribute of Weekly Governance Pack that is provided to the client (Project Scorecard, All registers and Detailed Project Plan - and any other documentation that has been agreed as part of the governance structure)
  • Monitor, maintain and update of all Open Actions, Risks, and Gaps and detailed project plan tasks
  • Coordinate with the BAU workstream partners assigned to ensure you are receiving the latest updates prior to updating the registers and Detailed project plan
  • Ensure confirmation of operational readiness to the agreed go live date
  • Coordinate and run the joint executive steer and GO/No Go decision meetings
  • Act as an escalation point for Workstream Leads, Project Managers and Client where appropriate
  • Ensure delivery of event to the agreed go live date
  • Act as an escalation point for the medium to large complexity projects
  • Assists in alignment of resources (as required)
  • Ensure all project governance activities are completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Collate and distribute any program level status updates (as required)
  • Provide updates to the team global trackers (as required)
  • Provide feedback and guidance to the Project Managers and/or Onboarding Consultants were appropriate
  • Actively participate in new client Sales process, including but not limited to RFI, RFP, indicative implementation budget creation and Sales presentations

  • Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field and basic knowledge of related job disciplines
