Description:

The CyberSG R&D Programme Office (CRPO) is a new national centre at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. CRPO will focus its efforts on three main thrusts to advance cybersecurity comprehensively: cutting-edge research and development, advancements in technology and translational development, and fostering ecosystem/industry growth and training.
CRPO aspires to propel Singapore to the forefront of cybersecurity innovation and implementation, fueled by funding from the Cybersecurity Agency of Singapore (CSA). This financial backing empowers CRPO to finance visionary projects proposed by diverse entities, including research institutes (RIs), institutions of higher learning (IHLs), and industries. The scope of these initiatives spans the entire Technology Readiness Level (TRL) spectrum, from nascent concepts at TRL 1 to advanced, field-tested solutions at TRL 9, all within the dynamic realm of cybersecurity.
CRPO is seeking to hire a strategic Senior Project Manager to provide strategic leadership and support for all aspects of CRPO’s Cyber Security Consortium. We are looking for a change agent to be part of the team to develop, track and manage research talent pool and pipeline in collaboration with research institutions (RIs), Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) and industry to support the demand for cybersecurity research talents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with research institutions, Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs), and industry partners to understand current and future demands for cybersecurity research talents.
  • Develop and implement strategies to identify, attract, and recruit top talents in cybersecurity research.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with past scholars to foster partnerships and facilitate knowledge exchange of current and future demands for cybersecurity research talents.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to foster partnerships and facilitate knowledge exchange current and future demands for cybersecurity research talents.
  • Track and manage the talent pipeline, ensuring a steady supply of qualified candidates.
  • Provide guidance and support to research talent, including mentoring and professional development opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in cybersecurity research talent management.
  • Provide guidance and assistance in translation management where necessary.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma / Bachelors’ Degree, or other relevant qualification in lieu of the qualifications
  • At least 14 years of relevant working experience and qualifications for Diploma holders, or at least 12 years for Bachelor Degree holders.
  • Experiences in planning and execution of large scale projects will have an advantage.
  • Possess leadership qualities and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with different groups of stakeholders.
  • Experience in international communications with potential industries
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
