Description:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing resources to drive the delivery of the annual capital programme of work. You will actively manage facility strategic, major and minor capital projects from conception through to completion.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Your role will involve engaging with key stakeholders including Senior and Executive Management to develop cost-effective solutions. You will ensure feasibility studies and/or business cases are well researched whilst also providing facilities, technical and compliance advice within the projects team.
Your role will involve selecting, managing, mentoring and training appropriate resources including internal staff, consultants and contractors. You will combine your construction knowledge, project management best practice methodologies and business acumen to manage complex projects.

The ideal candidate for the Senior Project Manager role will bring a wealth of experience and skills to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree qualification or equivalent in Construction, Architectural or Engineering
  • Six or more years on-the-job client-side project work experience in the construction industry
  • At least five year’s experience in Building, Construction or Engineering project team leadership and management
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external partners
  • Experienced in implementing a project methodology on a project or programme of work
  • Experienced in influencing a variety of stakeholders to achieve cost effective solutions
