Job Purpose:
We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager for a brand new client. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team for an exciting and challenging program.
About The Strategic Content Solutions (SCS)
Strategic Content Solutions, part of RWS’s Language Services division, works closely with major accounts and clients of all sizes who are going global with specialized localization services. These services cover the entire localization spectrum, from translating content, media, and audio to creating engaging eLearning programs and transcreating highly impactful marketing campaigns. The SCS works closely with RWS’s Language eXperience Delivery (LXD) platform, which includes 2,000 in-house linguists, and a network of more than 29,000 translators, who use RWS’s proprietary machine translation, AI, and translation productivity tools, to deliver a 24/7 service to clients.
Job Overview:

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree in either Localization, project management, a business related area or equivalent work experience
• Typically requires 3+ years of localization project management experience
• 3+ years of budget management experience
• Good written/verbal communication and presentation skills
• Customer service experience
• Proactive
• Ambitious and with a desire to learn and progress
• Analytical and organized problem solving abilities
• Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivery of projects to client’s expectations achieving targeted levels of profitability
• Compiling estimates and proposals for approval
• Adhering to the LQI sales process and RWS project processes.
• Close financial monitoring and control of projects through budgets, invoicing and change orders to ensure timely invoicing.
• Strategic project planning involving best methodologies, processes, and risk assessments.
• Accurate documentation and filing of all project related materials.
• Identification and development of project/process improvement opportunities and escalating to Program Manager.
• Hosting regular, documented verbal and written communications with clients and internal team members.
• Works on complex problems/projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors and works complex problems through to resolution
• Internal and customer involved initiatives to drive localization maturity, process improvement or business strategy forward
• Potential to monitor and mentor of more junior team members
