We are currently seeking for an experienced Project Managers to take on exciting opportunities with our VIC team. Reporting to the Program Manager for specific sectors, this role will have you use your diverse industry experience and technical excellence to oversee and lead a team to support large asset owners in achieving advanced control, enhance efficiency and improve the value and productivity of their business.
Key responsibilities
Successfully deliver large, complex and high-risk projects.
Manage the full lifecycle of automation projects from estimation to commissioning.
Provide effective leadership and direction to the project team.
Account and portfolio management of an industry or sector.
Update and maintain the CRM system Track, forecast and report on project performance.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Proven experience working in the industrial automation industry as a project manager.
Demonstrated management of the design and construction of industrial electrical and control systems, including concept, design, construction and commissioning phases.
Ability to direct engineering and construction personnel in their daily duties and overall project goals Proven ability to bid manage and tender, medium to large work packages.
Strong understanding of contract negotiation and administration.
Proven ability to apply project management methodology.
Excellent planning and organisation skills.
A strong focus on delivering agreed outcomes.
Analytical thinker and decision maker.
Working knowledge of effective account/client management techniques.
Key requirements
Project Management qualification and accreditation with the Australian Institute of Project Management or equivalent organisation is desirable.
Experience as a Project Manager within the automation industry or similar environment.
Experience in finance and cost management.
Australian drivers licence.
Must have the right to work in Australia.
