Description:

The Sussex Provider Collaboratives (SPC) came into place on the 1st April 2024 and consist of:

  • Community, Mental Health, and Primary Care Provider Collaborative (CPC)
  • Acute Provider Collaborative (APC)

The NHS provider organisations in Sussex serve a population of 1.8 million, delivering a range of primary care, acute, community and mental health services:

  • East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust
  • Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust
  • Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
  • Queen Victoria NHS Foundation Trust
  • University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust

The Senior Project Officer will work with the Managing Director of the provider collaboratives to support driving the design, delivery, and implementation of the collaboratives, agreeing priorities with the system’s provider chief executives and chairs.
The main responsibilities of the Senior Project Officer are to provide robust administration and project management support to the Managing Director. The role will include administration support to Director’s of the acute and community provider collaboratives to ensure key/main meetings/workshops are coordinated.
The post-holder will support the Managing Director in the effective engagement and communication across the provider collaboratives and with all system partners, including staff, communities, carers, and patients.
The role will be critical in providing project support to facilitate the Managing Director and their team to enable providers and partners through the collaboratives, to work across organisational boundaries to tackle complex problems, release collective potential and share resources and insight.
The post holder will provider project management to ensure the implementation of effective programme management for all streams of work, ensuring effective governance and reporting.
To build effective relationships with staff and partners across the Sussex Provider Collaborative to facilitate optimal joint working to create innovative ways to support the aims and objectives of the SPC
