About Us
The Magistrates’ Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state.
The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 percent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible, and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.
About the Role
The Senior Project Officer will provide authoritative program and project management expertise and leadership to the Family Violence Division to support the delivery of the Courts Family Violence Reform Program to support the Courts’ response to family violence.
The role is responsible for overseeing the Family Violence Division’s risk and issue, reporting and governance frameworks, and supporting Project Teams to successfully deliver their projects in line with CSV and MCV project management requirements.
The Senior Project Officer role sits within the Strategy, Evidence and Reporting team. The role has line management responsibilities for one Project Officer, and works closely with project staff and senior stakeholders across the Family Violence Division, and MCV and CSV more broadly.
About You
The role requires demonstrated expertise and knowledge of the principles and processes of project management, project lifecycle stages and project management methodologies.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading a project team or working in a senior role within a Project Management Office, ideally within the Victorian Public Sector.
