Victorian Health Building Authority The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government’s multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. Our diverse projects span the health, mental health and aged care portfolios across metropolitan, regional, and rural settings and ambulance branches across Victoria. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines. Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Principal Project Manager, Town Planning, the position will be responsible for providing expert advice to VHBA on town planning and protection of helipad flight paths for health infrastructure to facilitate Health portfolio project delivery. This includes project oversight from business case preparation, master planning through to delivery.
The position will provide strategic town planning advice, working with project managers to facilitate permits or resolution of town planning matters, and stakeholder management. The role will also involve management of the hospital helipad flight path protection program, which utilises planning overlays to protect the unfettered operation of hospital helipads. The position has a focus on project management, project governance, stakeholder management, technical advisory and policy advisory.
