JOB SUMMARY:

As a key member of Transformation Team, you will be responsible for leading teams to deliver project(s) that span across business unit. Your role is to manage resources, schedules and adhere to the processes and guidelines throughout the full development life cycle. Also, one key aspect in your role will be to manage issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful execution and delivery of assigned customers. Successful candidates will have good business acumen, strong communication skills, customer service experience, and project/service delivery experience. Ideally coming from a background mix of both Project and Program Management.

What you’ll be doing:

• Full project and program life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment and handoff to support.
• Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic client objectives.
• Develops, executes, monitors, and adjusts project plans, estimates, resources plans, and implementation strategy to meet the needs of project stakeholders, and to ensure project deliverables are on time, within budget, and meets customer/stakeholders’ expectations.
• Manage high-profile projects applying technical and project management expertise while leading cross-functional resources to meet project expectations within established budgets and timeframes.
• Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives.
• Communicate with project stakeholders to determine project goals, success criteria and objectives.
• Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues to executives.
• Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment.
• Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution.
• Set and continually manage project expectations while delegating and managing deliverable with team members and stakeholders.
• Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables.
• Define success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team.
• Provide official feedback to the resource’s functional manager throughout the project.
• Proactively look at ways to address challenges as well as develop recommendations/solutions to successfully address project issues after the project closure.
• Report on the status and progress of the given project to the Fresche executive team as it is being reported to the client.
• Continuously introduce positive change.
• Provide leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and manage their expectations for service delivery.
• Report regularly on project success criteria results, status, metrics, test and deployment activities.
• Strong project and program management skills delivering projects.
• Develop, lead, and manage project teams.
• Perform risk management planning, risk identification, and mitigation.

About you:

• 10+ years of Project Management.
• 5+ years Program Management on large and complex projects.
• Proficient with MS Project.
• Consulting experience is a strong asset.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Display strong problem solving and conflict management skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with customers & teams based on credibility and understanding client’s needs.
• Ability to assess risks & analyze data to ensure bests business practices.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

This is a full-time and permanent position.
