Leading Managed Services Provider operating on a national scale, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer. This organisation stands out as one of the most prominent MSPs in the region, with a vast clientele and a significant number of endpoints under its management. They are dedicated to delivering top-notch IT support, monitoring, maintenance, consultancy, project services, and cloud infrastructure solutions.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of experience in Microsoft Server systems, Azure cloud solutions, and contemporary security practices. A background of 7-10 years in ICT, particularly within an MSP setting, would be beneficial. Expertise in Microsoft and Office 365, Virtualization, and networking solutions is required, with a preference for knowledge in Cisco and Barracuda systems.

THE ROLE

The selected candidate will join a team of seasoned IT professionals, taking on a role that is critical to the successful delivery of client IT projects. The focus will be on ensuring the highest standards of security and the implementation of cutting-edge cloud solutions. The role involves building enduring relationships with clients and guiding them through the integration of the latest technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing expert-level technical service.
• Playing a key role in the scoping and planning phases of IT projects.
• Ensuring the delivery of technical services for projects.
• Engaging with clients at a consultancy level.
• Coordinating technical activities with both internal and client teams.
• Documenting technical frameworks and solutions.
• Collaborating with external vendors and solution providers.
• Developing training programmes and facilitating technical handover to support teams.
