  • 35 hours per week, 7 hours per day
    About the Role
    Our client are a well known state government office who provide a range of multidisciplinary services including Will-Making, trustee & financial management, and guardianship services. They write 13,000 estate planning documents each year, support over 47,000 customers annually. They are now looking for an experienced Senior Property Officer to work within their team in Parramatta on a short term contract.
    Candidates for this position must have previous experience in Property Management.
    In the role you will be responsible for the management of rental properties both commercial and residential, while also ensuring trustee and financial management property related functions are high quality, timely, effective and customer focused.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing new leases and arranging for redirection of rents for existing tenancies.
  • Managing, arranging and overseeing the repairs and maintenance of rental properties as required.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding rental properties, such as real estate agents, contractors, other staff members, customers and families.
  • Reconcile rental payments with end of month statements received
  • Maintaining and accurately updating rental data on CIS and Trim
  • Managing and maintaining the team rental email inbox

The role will require the successful candidate to work on site in Parramatta 5 days per week. There is no hybrid flexibility.
About You

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Property Management experience (Essential)
  • Manage external service providers to meet the needs of our customers, having regard to their disabilities.
  • Ability to multitask and manage various projects (Office based)
  • Tertiary qualifications or recent experience in construction / project management and capacity to interpret and provide advice on building plans and specifications.
  • Strong understanding of Australian building standards and the National Construction Code
  • NSW builders’ license is preferred.
