DVS is looking for a Senior Proposal Manager to support large cybersecurity proposals to join our team in Vienna, VA. Local candidates are preferred.
DVS is looking for a Senior Proposal Manager for large Cybersecurity proposals to be part of the Management & Proposal Team. The Senior Proposal Manager is responsible for leading, planning, scheduling, and overseeing the timely development and delivery of high-quality responses to federal business opportunities, from pre-RFP to post-submission activities, in a fast-paced environment. This position will drive proposal development team planning and execution, develop, and edit proposal content, review RFP requirements, conduct analysis on RFPs, and assess strategies for responding to RFIs and RFPs. Additionally, the Manager serves as a corporate subject matter expert on the Shipley proposal process. The ideal candidate is a thought leader, able to see the big picture without overlooking the details, fosters a positive and responsive team environment, and can quickly adjust to dynamic proposal development schedules and requirements.

Required Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• 10-15 years of experience managing and writing complex, large cybersecurity proposals
• 10+ years of experience at a large Govcon (i.e. Peraton, Leidos, Deloitte, Booz Allen, GDIT, etc.) company as most recent professional role.
• Winning record (30% or greater) as a proposal manager on single award bids exceeding $100M in value.
• Proven leader and manager for large complex proposals. Capable of taking charge and leading to achieve results.
• Experience developing cyber proposals for DOD, U.S. Army, ARCYBER, or CYBERCOM.
• Expert knowledge of Shipley methodology.
• Experience preparing for proposal orals with successful outcomes. (Use of additional orals coach is expected)
• Comfortable managing a hybrid team of remote and on-site proposal team members.
• Expert knowledge of MS Teams, SharePoint, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
• Strong technical writing skills and the ability to format complex proposal outlines and documents.
• Expert proposal writer and editor

Education and Training:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, English, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity
• MBA a plus
• APMP Credential
