Description:
Tate, a world-class global data centre interiors design engineering and manufacturing business, operating within the safeguard of the Kingspan Group PLC valued at over $9bn, is currently in search of a dynamic Senior Purchasing Administrator.
As a Senior Purchasing Administrator at Tate, operating within our Supply Chain team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our organisation. Based on-site in our dynamic and diverse Head Office in Dublin 10 you will work within a team of 3 and take ownership of placing orders with suppliers, maintaining minimum stock of vital stock items, and delivering procurement solutions for the business. At Tate, we are growing exponentially, so you will work within a changing, dynamic environment as the conduit between our customers and our business to ensure efficiency, accuracy and customer excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Min 5-10 years of Experience within purchasing administration or similar; with experience with using SAP (or similar)
- Adaptability and agility in how you work. The ability to multi-task, manage different stakeholders and react quickly is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to root cause and implement effective solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of purchasing professionals.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Full working rights in Ireland
Responsibilities:
KEY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The key purpose of the Purchase Administrator role is to ensure seamless procurement operations, uphold supply chain integrity, and optimize inventory management processes to support efficient manufacturing operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assessing manufacturing demand and place purchase orders for stock required to maintain manufacturing operations.
- Liaising with all departments to place purchase orders for overhead spend and ensure timely delivery of all goods and services ordered.
- Running Management Resource Planning tools on SAP to guarantee all orders can be met On-Time In Full.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels, track stock movements, and collaborate with relevant departments to optimize stock levels.
- Supervise and mentor junior purchasing staff, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with suppliers to drive collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, including geopolitical and economic factors.
