SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical or Renewable Energy
  • Ideally experience as Owner’s Engineering
  • Technical knowledge of renewable projects such solar farm (5MW+) is essential (C&I will be not enough)
  • Excellent report writing ability
  • Strong communication skills

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Senior PV/BESS Engineer you will be responsible for overseeing the design review, compliance and regulatory aspects of large-scale renewable energy projects such solar farms, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Your responsibilities will include working on client projects, conducting site visits for design validation and commissioning activities, and collaborating with and mentoring other engineers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Lead project delivery in various Renewable Energy sectors, including Utility Scale Photovoltaic system design, AC Power Systems Design, Utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems, and Electrification.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations by implementing Design-for-Construction principles.
  • Provide guidance to ensure adherence to local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations for designs and installations.
  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of renewable energy electrical systems, offering assistance in fault finding and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain precise project records, including drawings, specifications, and modeling outputs, while fostering teamwork and collaboration among team members.
