  Are you ready to dive into a career with Ocean Technologies Group? We’re seeking a dynamic Senior Python Developer to join our innovative Shared Services branch within the Engineering Team.
  In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of building a cutting-edge suite of services that will unify and enhance the capabilities of our diverse business units. We’re looking for someone who is not only passionate about technology but also proactive in exploring new solutions and committed to delivering high-quality, robust code.

  Your Voyage Ahead:

Project Execution:

• Lead the execution of software development projects, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle.
• Deliver scalable and robust solutions from concept to deployment.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to development projects.
• Maintain clear and effective communication channels within the team and across departments.

Continuous Improvement:

• Participate in processes for continuous improvement, including code reviews, performance analysis, and feedback loops.
• Enhance the overall development lifecycle through proactive evaluation and adaptation.

Agile Methodology:

• Implement and advocate for agile development methodologies, promoting adaptive planning, evolutionary development, and early delivery of value.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance overall project efficiency.

Team Empowerment:

• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages continuous learning and professional growth within the team.
• Instill a passion for quality code, creativity, and problem-solving among team members.

Recommended to bring on board:

Required:

• Preffered degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Extensive Python experience
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns
• Proven backend and API design/implementation skills with a focus on security, stability, and efficiency
• Expertise in Microservices and Micro-frontends (Docker)
• Experience with multiple databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL)
• Unix environment proficiency
• Proficiency with Git

Desirable:

• Quick learner of new programming languages
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
