New services or applications being build cross product to automate the client data handling, client setup, account & product setup covering multi-national corporate. Its highly visible & important initiative for the Bank to make the client setup efficient & also improve data quality consistency across systems & reduce the operational risks. Its a large programme & will be extended to other uses cases in client setup e.g Payments reconciliation, client reporting, client document handling. This programme is suppose to grow further to cover more tailored requirements from ‘Mittelstand’ which is a very innovative & important client segment for Germany business.

SKILLS

Must have
Mandatory skills: o 4+ years overall software testing experience o 3+ years of test automation experience o 1+ years of hands-on recent experience with JAVA Hands-on experience with: o REST API testing, Postman, and backend services testing developed around Java and Spring Boot. Would be a plus for MQ, gRPC testing, and knowledge. o Relational databases and SQL knowledge
Oracle/Postgres. o Data models and standards like JSON, XML, AVRO, etc. o Hands-on developing of unit, mocking, and integration testing using tools like JUnit, Mockito, RestAssured/WebTestClient, and Spring Test suite. o Web application testing with tools like Selenium/Cypress/Playwright. o CI/CD pipeline integration and familiarity with testing suites in tools like Jenkins o Cloud tech experience or virtual environments like Kubernetes/Openshift/Google Cloud/AWS. o Involved in the designing phase of the testing framework and creating meaningful test cases. o BDD experience with Cucumber/Karate. o Banking experience.

Ability to plan and implement the full set of test automation activities: create, maintain, and execute automated tests.
Develop, extend, and improve the existing Test Automation tools and test frameworks.
Providing input to the project plan/release plan, defect/change management processes, systems integration, testing tools, and processes.
Gathering of testing requirements and syncing between IT and Business teams.
Identifying areas of weakness to existing procedures, continually implementing new procedures, and assessing risk of impact from changes to projects.
Assisting the IT application team in achieving quality products by identifying defects and deficiencies early and providing feedback for continuously improving the development and testing processes.
Perform manual testing when required by the application or time constraints.
