Core Trading Technology team in Berlin focuses on development of low latency electronic trading platform and services for FX, Rates&Credit, Listed Derivates businesses. We work on super-fast market data feeds, connectivity to exchanges and other electronic venues, algo pricing and trading, order management systems and frameworks; we capture petabytes of data and power analytics for traders and quants.
We are looking for a senior QA Automation Engineer, ready to join the strong team of developers, QA and infrastructure engineers. You will work in tight collaboration with quant developers and traders on the desk to deliver best class trading solution for FX business. You will report to the team lead, and directly collaborate with business departments and both local and remote developers and project managers from partnering teams. Together with the team you will work on a full life cycle of a product, from architecture design to implementation.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• Several years of professional experience in the field of QA automation for backend (Test Automation Frameworks, ideally Python/Java-based)
• Experience in Python and/or Java (preferably Python);
• Experience in different types of testing: System, Integration, Regression, UAT
• Experience in Unix, VCS systems(git)
• Knowledge of SDLC, experience working in Agile/Scrum/Kanban;
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Independent way of working and hands-on mentality when testing software

• You will be responsible for driving automation: developing and maintaining test framework (Python/Java), writing and optimizing tests
• You will perform exploratory, functional, regression, performance and integration testing to find defects and assure that the system meets requirements
• You will plan and assist Testing & UAT environments, assist in UAT testing
• You will work with development team as well as in close cooperation with neighboring departments
