Senior QA Specialist- EMEA (Belgium/Netherlands)

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Senior QA Specialist to join our dynamic team working in our EMEA region, preferably from Belgium or the Netherlands. This role involves primarily manual testing of our SaaS product, help & mentor a junior QA specialist, as well as overseeing the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure the highest quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• At least five (5) years of experience in an QA agile role or related professional experience.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and SDLC processes.
• Familiarity with Cypress.
• Knowledge of automation testing for UI/API/Load and Performance.
• Proficiency in creating test cases, test plans, and test strategies.
• Experience with bug tracking systems such as Azure DevOps.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in both English and Dutch.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Nice to have: Knowledge of Gherkin

• Conduct thorough manual testing of our SaaS product to identify and report bugs, usability issues, and other quality concerns.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
• Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and testing strategies to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Oversee the SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance phases.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress, issues, and resolutions.
• Mentor junior QA team member, providing guidance on best practices, methodologies, and tools.
• Orchestrate every release to ensure the stability of the product, coordinating with development, product management, and other stakeholders.
• Proactively implement best practices in testing methodologies, processes, and tools to enhance overall QA efficiency and effectiveness.

• Support current automated tests and create new ones to improve test coverage and efficiency.
