Hobson Prior is seeking a Senior QC Analyst for a permanent role based in Galway. This role is an excellent opportunity to join a leading generic pharmaceutical manufacturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full analysis of raw materials, finished products, and contract manufactured products using appropriate analytical techniques.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in a chemistry-based discipline.
- Competency in the following technical areas: HPLC, IR, UV, dissolution & physical testing.
- Strong computer skills in MS Office.
- Experience working within a pharmaceutical cGLP Environment; with knowledge of EU GMP and US FDA Guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate the ability to learn and understand methods showing competency in the following technical areas: HPLC, IR, UV, dissolution & physical testing.
- Maintain and follow all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Adhere to the existing methods concerning pharmacopoeia, specifications, regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct full analysis of raw materials promptly using appropriate analytical techniques with limited analyst-related OOS.
- Conduct a full analysis of the finished product (tablets, boluses, veterinary drenches etc) promptly using appropriate analytical techniques with limited analyst-related OOS.
- Conduct full analysis of contract manufactured products by customer specifications with limited analyst-related OOS.
- Perform incoming inspection of foils, labels, bulk finished goods, and injectables.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment as per calibration procedures.
