MINIMUM OF TWO YEARS’ EXPERIENCE IN WORKING WITH HEALTHCARE DATA AND INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.

• BS/BA degree required. MS/MA degree preferred.
• Must be an intermediate level user of Microsoft Access and SPSS.
• Experience in qualitative research, statistical data analysis and preparation of QI or related reports is preferred. Experience writing grant proposals or conducting analyses on large databases is preferred.

The Senior Quality Data Analyst assists internal and external customers in providing technical and methodological design consultation, results interpretation and reporting. This position requires experience with grant writing, quantitative and qualitative data capture, data management, and analyses. Responsibilities include development of survey tools, focus group and in-depth interview guides, grant writing, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, utilization of databases for the identification of appropriate study populations; data management, analysis planning and statistical analysis of data collected from data sources, patient surveys and grant/funding source reports. Develops complex reports and prepares policy statements and recommendations to assist UH to improve the quality of patient services. Demonstrates fiscal responsibility in the use of UH materials and property.
