TECHNICAL SKILLS
Prior experience with Decision Engine Technologies (e.g. Experian PowerCurve Collections v2.4 - Preferred, Experian Strategy manager, PCO/ Transact / Tallyman / CredAgilty).
Coding experience (such as SQL, Java, XML, Groovy, JavaScript) is essential.
Experience with Automation Test Frameworks and tools is essential (e.g. Playwright, Selenium).
Ability to engage with and communicate to stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
PEOPLE SKILLS
Proven experience to establish rapport, engage and maintain working relationships with internal & external stakeholders, service providers and peers across multiple disciplines and seniority in an Agile environment.
Proven experience to be able to collaborate and work with product owner, engineers, analysts and other people in the squad to identify risks early and help fix bugs improving quality of the product.
Established confidence to challenge senior members of the team and stakeholders, regardless of disciplines, when required.
Have a positive CAN DO attitude.
Strong collaboration and influencing skills in leading continuous improvements initiatives in QA engineering.
Strong customer focus with demonstrable experience in applying technical expertise and problem solving to meet customer needs.
Responsibilities:
You will be expected to perform the following tasks and responsibilities in a manner consistent with CBA’s Values and People Capabilities.
Analyse requirements & design documents and create test cases.
Design, implement and maintain automated test assets to ensure desired level of quality and test coverage.
Contribute to the estimates on the test/ engineering efforts for various features and new initiatives as part of definition of done.
Contribute to drive testability in solution design and promote best test engineering practices in the development process.
Collaborate closely within your scrum team to drive testability in solution design and promote best test engineering practices in the development process.
Advise and apply best test engineering practice and supporting tools and technologies to specific features and projects.
Establish traceability and coverage through effective mapping of test cases & scripts to acceptance criteria as defined in user story.
Utilise strong understanding of core business and technical strategies to deliver best business outcomes.
Promote quality engineering principles and practices into project work.
Continually learning modern technology best practices and bring them back to the group. Go above and beyond in improving quality and performance in the delivery of efficient, reliable and maintainable application and solutions that meet design and requirements specifications for technology projects.
