Responsibilities:
- You actively support the management of the risks for the energy trading business of the EWE TRADING in close partnership with the trading desks
- You support the strategic improvement and development of our PPA business, and you will become the main contact within Riskmanagement for all PPA-related issues
- You will also actively work on the risk side in the field of (structured) power trading
- You are the first point of contact in risk management for inquiries in the area of forward curves in close coordination with the analysis team and the trading desks
- You are familiar with the concept of discounting, NPV and risk-adjusted NPV
- You work independently on projects and the related documentation requirements
- The development and implementation of concepts and methods is done by you and your colleagues in close cooperation with the Analysis and DevOps teams
- You support the evaluation and development of new trading strategies and products and improve our trading system
- Ad hoc-analyses and evaluations are provided by you when needed
- The reporting, their enhancements and maintenance are ensured by you and your colleagues
- You support your Risk Management fellows and all other departments (e.g. the Trading Desks, the Credit Riskmanagement Team, etc.)
