• Hybrid, 3 days week in office, 155 Wellington St W
• 6 months to start – 37.5 hours per week

JOB TITLE: SENIOR QUANTITATIVE TABLEAU DASHBOARD DEVELOPER, INVESTMENTS

Purpose: We are seeking a Quantitative Developer specializing in data visualization and dashboard implementation with expertise in Tableau to join the Quantitative Development team.
In this role, you will be integrated within the Quantitative Investments team at Global Asset Management. You will help the team deliver Tableau dashboard solutions to support custom analytics solutions that enhance insight into the team’s systematic portfolio management and quantitative research processes.

Role: Apply your Tableau skills to deliver analytics tools to support the Quantitative Investment business

• Engineering team that is integrated into the Quantitative Equity Investment team where you will be working directly with investment professionals to delivery analytics solutions using Tableau
• 5-member Agile software development team that collectively provides custom technology solutions
• 11-member quantitative investment team

• An understanding of Investment industry, especially via experience in asset management and quantitative style of investing (nice to have)
• Excellent SQL skills for constructing complex queries
• Deep technical expertise with using Tableau to create dashboard visualizations and analytics including:
• Experience with Level of Detail (LOD) expressions
• Experience with performance tuning of dashboards
• Experience with context filters and Tableau order of operations
• Experience with multiple types of dynamic show/hide types
• Experience with table calculations and data partitioning
• Experience with sets and set actions
• Experience with dashboard filter actions and highlight actions
• Experience with parameters and parameter actions

Python & Matlab are a nice to have though will most likely not require
