ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent knowledge.
- Chartered Member of RICS, ICES, or CIOB, or working towards membership.
- Professional Qualified Person CSCS Card.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience in managing project costs.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a proven track record in managing project costs and income?
We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team on the East Coast of Scotland. In this role, you will play a crucial part in minimizing project costs and enhancing value for money while maintaining high standards and quality.
What you’ll be doing
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Governance:
- Adhere to company governance requirements and maximize LEAN/digital opportunities.
- Commercial Management and Administration:
- Prepare activity and resource schedules, analyze tender documents, and negotiate with third parties. Review complex contract programs and assist with delay and disruption programs.
- Customer/Change Management:
- Understand customer contracts, manage customer and stakeholder relationships, negotiate claims, and handle compensation events.
- Procurement:
- Conduct constructability analyses, prepare procurement programs, and help develop procurement strategies.
- Development, Recruitment, and Retention:
- Support the recruitment, supervision, and development of team members.
