Responsibilities:
The Senior Quantity Surveyor position, based on the North Shore, is a key role within the organisation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of accuracy and efficiency that the company is renowned for. The role involves:
- Providing accurate pricing within agreed timeframes.
- Managing and supporting the tendering and estimation function.
- Compiling and submitting monthly progress claims, liaising with the project management team and the main contractor’s QS.
- Offering timely and accurate pricing of contract variations and instructions, ensuring contract documentation is up to date.
- Liaising with Operations and Project managers to ensure projects are on time and within budget for administrative purposes.
- Developing relationships with main contractors and builders regarding tenders and overall pricing.
- Providing accurate cost reporting on current and recently completed jobs.
- Acting as a liaison between the office and the site, providing accurate information as required.
