Description:

DESCRIPTION

A certified professional who performs computerized axial tomography, as well as routine diagnostic and special radiologic procedures on patients of all age groups. Other duties may include multi-disciplinary committee/team participation, quality improvement activities, and collaboration with the medical staff. Works under minimal supervision and acts as a resource to others in the department.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of Accredited school of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
  • Training in C.T. in addition to Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
  • Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography
  • 2 years experience in an acute care hospital
  • 1 year experience in Computerized Tomography in the Imaging Department
